2020 Outdoor Season


2020 OUTDOOR SEASON HAS BEEN CANCELLED. Please check back in August for information for the 2020-2021 indoor season 

Aurora Soccer Club: Zone 3.  Includes areas Arbor Creek, Aspen Ridge, Brighton, Evergreen, Erindale, University Heights SC, Willowgrove.

Registration for the Aurora Soccer Club will take place as follows:

  • Late registrants will be accepted only as space permits and will be charged a late registration fee of $50.00.
  • Registrants who withdraw from playingwill be charged a $50.00 administration fee, and applicable charges.  Refund policy

Eligibility

 

  • U7 & U9 players are not bound to zones, and may register with any zone in Saskatoon.

  • U19 is a 4-year age group, absorbing the previous U17 age group. Residency rules have not changed: players born in 2003/2004 are bound to their zone of residence, while players born in 2001/2002 may register with any zone in Saskatoon.See the Residency Rules

Please note the new rules from SYSI that pertain to players playing illegally (ie. false address or without the authorization to play out of zone) in a Zone. 

 

  • If the zone can demonstrate that it has made reasonable efforts to determine Residency and is unaware that the parent and/or player has submitted a false registration, the zone will not be fined.

 

  • A Parent and/or Player found to have or be submitting a false address or an address that is not within the zone they register with, will be subject to a $100 fine (first offense) or $500 fine (subsequent offences), plus a 3 game suspension (first offense) and 5 game suspension (subsequent offenses)  will be issued to the Player and the Player will be sent back to there home zone for the remainder of the season..


Fees and Deposits

 

Registration Fees:


Your soccer registration fees are very competitive with those paid for other sports and leisure activities. Even so, you may be interested in knowing how the amount is set. The fee is based on the team assessments made by Saskatoon Youth Soccer and Saskatchewan Soccer Association.

Prior to the beginning of the season, the Aurora Soccer Club breaks this out into a player-based fee, and adds its anticipated costs associated with: 

 

Registration fees cover: 

  • Evaluations
  • SYSI and SSA fees
      • Staff at SYSI required to organize league, registrations, field and schedule assignments, referees
      • Provincial registration fees which cover insurance for each participant,
      • Practice times at the Soccer Centres (Indoor season only)
  • Player's own uniform kit (jersey, pair of shorts and one pair of socks).
  • Training coaches
  • Purchasing and providing equipment
  • TeamSnap

Refundable Family Volunteer Deposit

  • Per Family - $150 (U9-19) 
  • Minimum Hours Required - 4 Hours

Each family (not player) will be charged the volunteer bond. If the minimum hours required is volunteered the volunteer bond will be returned. If a member of the player's family does not volunteer, their volunteer bond will be used to cover the costs required to hire additional resources for the Club.
U7 families are not required to pay the volunteer bond. If you register only children in these age groups, you will not be required to pay the volunteer bond.

Ways in which your refundable volunteer fee is refunded: 

  • Coach or assistant coach your child’s soccer team
  • Manage your child’s soccer team (maximum of 2 manager’s per team)
  • Assist with becoming a bench supervisor (maximum of 1 bench supervisor per team and only required with opposite sex coaches)
  • Volunteer during evaluations
  • Volunteer during the Aurora Soccer Tournaments
  • Volunteer on an Aurora Soccer Club committee or as an Aurora Soccer Club board member
  • Sponsorship at for the Aurora Soccer Club Tournaments
  • Equipment hand out and return


Team Fees


Once teams are finalized, team fees are set by the team staff and include things like:

  • Tournament fees, if your team enters any tournaments
  • Additional turf fees from SYSI for U15-U19 Premiere and Div. 2 only (Indoor Only)
  • Miscellaneous fees as agreed to by the team

Provincal Soccer League ( PSL)

Aurora will be entering the Provincial Soccer League  (PSL) this spring, entering teams in:

U13 both boys and girls

U15 boys partnered with Hollandia and SUSC 

U15 girls partnered with Eastside

However, we will not be offering Under 17 Boys or Under 17 Girls teams this season. Players in Under 17 that wish to play PSL may play for another zone with Player transfer out of zone release request.  http://saskatoonyouthsoccer.ca/page.php?page_id=85860
