Job Description: 

  1. To come 15mins to the start time of the block to get an explanation of what to be doing when players will start to arrive.
  2. You will assist in checking players in and handing out their bibs needed for the evaluation. You may have to do this by yourself.
  3. At the end of the sessions one of the helpers will go collect the bibs and we will sort them out by numbering again to be ready for the next use, and set them aside. 
  4. You may be asked to run something to the evaluators or be asked to watch the desk.
  5. Or may be asked to help size players uniform sizes. 

 

Equipment Hand Out/Return: TBA

Job Description: 

  1. To help with handing out or re-collecting team equipment, assisting club staff
  2. You will assist in checking which teams either get equipment or return equipment, noting any changes or additions for club inventory to all items
  3. Needing to be able to stand for potentially full shift and able to handle around 20lbs in lifting

Job Description: 

 

Refundable Volunteer Fee

Per Player - $100 (U7-19) 

Minimum Hours Required - 4 Hours/child (up to a max of 8 hours)

**If you have more than two children you are only required to volunteer for 8 hours to get back your full bond

Each player will be charged the volunteer deposit. If the minimum hours required is volunteered the volunteer deposit will be returned. If a member of the player's family does not volunteer, their volunteer deposit will be used to cover the costs required to hire additional resources for the club and will not be returned.

Refundable volunteer deposits are returned after each of the Aurora Soccer Tournaments and at the end of each of the soccer seasons once a 4-hour volunteer commitment is satisfied.

 Ways in which your refundable volunteer deposit is refunded: 

  • Coach or assistant coach your child’s soccer team
  • Manage your child’s soccer team (maximum of 2 manager’s per team)
  • Assist with becoming a bench supervisor (maximum of 2 bench supervisor per team and only required with opposite sex coaches)
  • Volunteer during the Aurora Soccer Tournaments
  • Volunteer on an Aurora Soccer Club committee or as an Aurora Soccer Club board member
  • Sponsorship at for the Aurora Soccer Club Tournaments
